However, in healthy cells, retroviruses lie dormant. It’s only when the body is exposed to unhealthy conditions that the retroviruses “wake up” and cause symptoms. For many people, these symptoms can become chronic and are often debilitating. It is believed by experts who have studied this topic that the modern epidemic of a variety of chronic illness with no known causes, aka “mystery illness”, is ultimately caused by the activation of the endogenous retroviruses that live in our DNA.
What does it take to “wake up” these retroviruses? Anything that causes stress to the body and depresses the immune system: nutritional stress and nutrient deficiencies, stressful life circumstances, injury, surgery, environmental pollution, vaccines, pesticides and herbicides (especially glyphosate) in our food, water and environment, heavy metals, parasite infections, being sick with a viral or bacterial illness for a long time (or frequently), exposure to things we’re allergic to, and electromagnetic pollution.
Retroviruses can be picked up through our environment (HIV is a common one), and will then make their way into our cells by using an enzyme called reverse transcriptase to synthesize DNA on an RNA template. Retroviruses possess only RNA, and this enzymatic process is necessary for them to replicate in the host cell.
The link between EMF’s and chronic illness, and even certain retroviruses themselves, has been established. Incoherent electromagnetic frequencies, especially when we are constantly exposed to a variety of sources of them, are unrecognizable to the body, and make the body believe it’s being attacked by an actual physical pathogen like a virus. So the immune system ramps up to try to fight off this invisible invader. However, since no viral material is actually present, it fights perpetually until the entire immune system has worn itself down. Now it no longer has the energy to fight off actual invaders – including the hidden pathogens that lie dormant in our cells, the retroviruses.
Cancer causing retroviruses
“Retroviral insertion can convert a proto-oncogene, integral to the control of cell division, into an oncogene, the agent responsible for transforming a healthy cell into a cancer cell.” – Encyclopedia Britannica
Viral-induced cancers were first discovered in 1911, when American pathologist Peyton Rous isolated a virus that could cause malignant sarcomas (cancers of connective tissues) in chickens, which he named the Rous sarcoma virus (RSV). At the time, he was unable to find viruses in other cancers, so temporarily abandoned his work. Decades later, the significance of his work finally got the attention it deserved, and more than 55 years after his first experiment, Rous was awarded the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine for discovering tumor-inducing viruses.
In 1970, virologists in both Japan and America, working independently, discovered an enzyme that could synthesize proviral DNA from the RNA genome of Rous sarcoma virus. The enzyme was named RNA-directed DNA polymerase, commonly called reverse transcriptase. With the discovery of this enzyme and its actions, also came the discovery of the unique class of viruses that were named retroviruses, which use reverse transcriptase as the key to their especially stubborn and chronic infectious activity.
Then in the 1980’s, the HTLV retroviruses were discovered and found to cause leukemia, which was formerly thought to be the result of a bacterial infection. Then, the retrovirus HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) was isolated and found to be the cause of AIDS.
Electromagnetic fields and viral-induced cancers
“Integration of retrovirus DNA into cell chromosomes results in cancer, but the proto-oncogenes do not become cancer-causing genes unless triggered by another event. Cancers caused by chemical or physical carcinogens in the environment probably often, if not invariably, are due to alterations in the sequences of proto-oncogenes that have converted them to oncogenes.” – Encyclopedia Britannica
In 1997, a study concluded that exposure to a 50 Hz electromagnetic field (a very low frequency compared to current electronic devices) induced activation of the Epstein-Barr virus genome in latently infected human lymphoid cells. This is an example of a dormant virus being activated by electromagnetic fields, and starting to replicate purely from EMF exposure. The EMF exposure of almost everyone on a daily basis today is far higher than when this study was done. It is well established that the Epstein-Barr virus can cause some types of cancer (like stomach cancer), and more recent studies are beginning to link the virus to even more common cancers, such as breast and colon cancers.
Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt is a medical doctor and founder of the Klinghardt Academy, the American Academy of Neural Therapy, medical director of the Institute of Neurobiology, lead clinician at the Sophia Health Institute, and founder and chairman of the Institute for Neurobiology. He is also an expert on retroviruses and their effects on human health.
Dr. Klinghardt states:
“But in the last two years, we’re realizing that that’s still not the depth of the bucket. What’s at the bottom of the bucket is a group of viruses. They’re called human endogenous retroviruses. These are viruses that are embedded in our DNA. We come in with them. But they’re silenced. They’re silenced largely through two mechanisms. One is called methylation. And the other one is called acetylation.
And those mechanisms are destroyed by the exposure to Wi-Fi or the cumulative exposure to the electromagnetic fields. And so, what happens is that these viruses are now replicating in us.”
He goes on to explain how retroviral infections occur with a host of other pathogens on the side that are often more visible: Lyme bacteria, parasites, candida, herpes, mold mycotoxins. These other pathogens cause immune stress and assist in triggering the dormant retroviruses, ramping up into a full-blown infection. So often, when someone is diagnosed with Lyme’s disease, or having symptoms of chronic fatigue, candida overgrowth, mold illness, or parasite infections, the deeper source of the symptoms is from the replication and destructive effects of the retroviruses that are now activated.
In Dr. Klinghardt’s medical practice, they have had success in shifting retroviruses back into their dormant state by modulating the environment of the patient – mainly by controlling EMF exposure and reducing toxic elements in the air, food and water. Then, by taming the retroviruses, other issues such as Lyme, candida, herpes, and other myriad issues start to resolve as a result of dealing with the deeper problem.
He also brings up mental illness, pointing out that the leading diagnosis in the United States right now is chronic anxiety, and that while toxins such as glyphosate are definitely a considerable factor in this, the main driver of chronic anxiety is harmful EMF’s.
The studies have already been done
Financially speaking, the telecommunications industry is six times larger than all the combined pharmaceutical industry. That could certainly be an explanation for why federal agencies are acting relatively powerless when it comes to regulating new technology, and not demanding thorough testing before implementation. Just three years ago, in 2016, a ten-year study was completed that showed significant increases in cancer in rats exposed to cell phone radiation. These results contradict the widely held assumption that EMF has no harmful effects simply because the mechanism of action wasn’t understood – the assumption was that because low levels of radio frequency radiation (under the SAR safety limits for cell phones) don’t cause a detectable tissue heating effect, which assumes that this heating effect is the only mechanism that could cause harm. This is certainly not the case.
The findings of the 2016 study show that as the intensity of the radiation increased, so did the incidence of cancer among the rats – a significant dose-response relationship. Of special importance are the types of tumors the rats developed: high rates of glioma (tumors in the glial cells in the brain) and malignant schwannoma of the heart. This coincides with at least four epidemiological studies that also link cell phone use to those types of cancers. None of the rats in the control group developed either of these cancers. It’s also important to note that gliomas are a particularly deadly type of cancer. Most people survive only 1 to 3 years after diagnosis.
Based on the conclusiveness and seriousness of this study, the U.S. National Toxicology Program (NTP) began urging federal agencies to inform the public of these results. Initially, NTP senior managers stated that they believe these results should be publicized as soon as possible because of the high risk level. The FDA and FCC, the two agencies responsible for regulating exposure to radio frequency radiation, were alerted to the study results but did not state how they planned to proceed with this information. Then at the beginning of 2018, the NTP did an unexplained one-eighty and stated that “using a cell phone is not a high-risk situation.”
A peer-review panel of 11 pathologists and toxicologists from academia and industry reviewed the NTP’s draft reports of the 2016 study, and concluded that there is “clear evidence of carcinogenic activity” – “clear” being the strongest of 5 terms used to classify evidence of carcinogenicity.
Why the NTP is now dramatically downplaying the obvious and undisputed results of this study, is cause for much speculation.
Conclusion
Based on what is currently known about retroviruses, it’s safe to assume we all have them sleeping in our cells. Many of us have very awake, active retroviruses causing anything from subtle, annoying symptoms to a full havoc wreaking. As environmental toxicity and EMF exposure increases, we seem to be seeing more and more of these “undiagnosable” symptoms and chronic mystery illnesses. The key to healing, and putting these retroviruses back to sleep, seems to be primarily reducing exposure to toxicity and chronic immune system stress, including incoherent electromagnetic fields. There are several foods, supplements and herbal formulas that doctors are successfully using to control retroviral expression, including fulvic acid, chlorella, certain herbs like lomatium and Chinese skullcap, and broccoli sprout extract.
Using a Blushield in your house, car and workplace will take a significant stress load off your immune system. It’s still good to reduce your EMF exposure as much as reasonably possible, but the Blushield restores the body’s immune function by producing biologically harmonious frequencies that override the harmful, incoherent frequencies. Your body stops trying to attack the electromagnetic invisible invaders, and instead “listens to” the coherent frequencies of Blushield, which it does recognize because Blushield frequencies mimic the frequency range of nature that we have evolved with.
Browse Blushield options here, to see how you can greatly assist the restoration of your immune function and make a big move in the prevention and treatment of chronic illness.
